The messages,
encouraging feedback, and unwavering trust shown by the members of our
lifestyle community mean more to us than words can express. Working in such an
environment, and being responsible for such remarkable people, is a true
privilege.
The responses
from recent days have clearly demonstrated: the community we have built
together is stronger than ever. The vast majority of those who have chosen this
lifestyle have stayed and assured us of their support. Despite a few
cancellations, the level of cancellations from our residents has been minimal,
which clearly shows the strong commitment our clients have towards Victoria
Cruises Residential Ship. This dedication means everything to us and
strengthens our belief in the unique lifestyle we are building together. While
a few cancellations have occurred, this trust means everything to us.

However — as difficult as it is to say — the departure scheduled for July 26, 2025, must be postponed.
This was not
an easy decision, but it is necessary.
A responsible
company does not launch such a complex lifestyle with unsustainable, 50%
occupancy. This is not just a business decision; it’s a guarantee of the
quality and safety of the onboard experience.
We set the
departure to require at least 80% cabin occupancy — which we nearly reached by
the end of April.
Unfortunately,
due to ongoing political and economic tensions between the United States and Canada,
several Canadian residents withdrew their bookings, making a sustainable
launch impossible at this time.
Currently, 430
cabins are booked — which is an excellent number — but it is not sufficient
to ensure a smooth and stable start to life onboard.
Therefore, the
decision to postpone was made. The new departure date will be announced soon,
and every affected resident will be personally informed.
Those impacted
will receive compensation as a token of our gratitude for their trust and
patience.
