We’re committed to full transparency and your peace of mind. Please read the following update regarding the current status of our residential cruise launch and what comes next.

We would like to officially inform you of an important update regarding the previously scheduled departure date of July 26, 2025 for the Victoria Cruises Residential Ship.

 As communicated earlier, this departure has been cancelled. The decision comes in response to a significant number of cancellations from our Canadian guests, who cited political circumstances beyond their control. As a result, we were unable to reach the minimum 80% occupancy threshold required to safely and economically launch the ship.

 At the time of cancellation, 438 out of 675 cabins had been booked, representing approximately 65% occupancy. Since then, additional cancellations have occurred, and we currently stand at 415 cabins, or roughly 61%.

Following a recent meeting, the Board of Directors has decided that a new departure date will be confirmed once we reach 76–78% occupancy. From that point, the voyage will commence within 90 days, allowing ample time for final preparations and logistics.

A Hopeful Outlook

Despite the delay, we’ve been encouraged by a surprising influx of new interest in recent weeks — a strong signal that our shared dream is very much alive. The current itinerary remains in effect, with only minor adjustments expected, which will only be finalized once the required occupancy is met.

Working on Inclusive Solutions

We are actively working to offer alternative boarding solutions for our Canadian guests who were unable to travel through the United States. Our goal is to bridge the gap and ensure everyone who dreams of this lifestyle has the opportunity to join us — regardless of nationality or travel constraints.
