Dear Customer,
We regret to inform
you that due to unforeseen external circumstances, the departure of Victoria
Cruises Residential Ship from Port Everglades, originally scheduled for 26 July 2025, must be postponed.
As a responsible
operator, we had set a minimum occupancy threshold of 80% to ensure the quality, stability, and sustainability
of life on board. By the end of April, we were very close to meeting this
target. However, recent political and
economic tensions between the United States and Canada have led to an
unexpected wave of cancellations from several Canadian residents, making the
current occupancy level (430 cabins)
insufficient for a viable launch.
This decision was not made lightly. We are fully committed to delivering a safe, inspiring, and seamless experience for all residents. In light of these developments, we have no choice but to postpone the start of our journey. The new departure date will be announced soon, and we will personally notify all affected residents.
We sincerely value
the support and trust of our community. The number of cancellations has been
minimal overall, which confirms the deep commitment our residents have shown
towards the Victoria Cruises lifestyle — something we do not take for granted.
As a gesture of
appreciation and to acknowledge any inconvenience caused, all affected residents will receive compensation,
the details of which will be shared directly with you.
