1) Can I bring food on board?    No, food is generally not allowed on board, except for packaged items like cookies, cakes, and chips.

2) Can I bring alcohol on board? Yes, it's permitted and included in the booking conditions. You can bring up to 6 bottles of wine, 1 carton of beer, and 2 bottles of spirits, including whiskey, vodka, etc.

3)  Can I consume the alcohol I bring anywhere on the ship? No, the alcohol you bring on board can only be consumed in your cabin or suite.

4)  Can I buy alcohol in the ship's shop? Yes, you can purchase alcohol in the onboard shop.

5)  I have food intolerances/diabetes. Can these be accommodated at any of the restaurants? Yes, of course. Please inform the crew when booking, and the restaurants will accommodate your dietary needs.

6)  I need special meals due to religious practices. Is this possible? Yes, please indicate your requirements when booking, and the restaurants will prepare meals accordingly.

7) Can the ship's doctor prescribe medication? Unfortunately, no, the ship's doctor is not registered in either the U.S. or Australia.

8) How can I receive a package? Victoria Cruises Line has offices on every continent, and you can have your package sent to one of these offices. The office will then forward the package to the ship at no charge. Package size is limited to 50x20x20 cm and a maximum of 5 kg.

9) Can I host guests in my cabin? Yes, you may host up to 2 guests (aged 18 and over) for a maximum of 15 days.

10) Do I need to pay a daily rate for my guest? Yes, a daily rate applies to all cabin types, and you must pay for your guest as well.

11) If my guest stays with me all day while the boat is moored but does not sleep on board, do I still have to pay the daily fee? Yes, the daily fee is $30, which includes meals and complimentary drinks. This price includes meals at the Paris and Lido restaurants and the grill buffet. Guests can also use all the services included in the rental agreement.

12) Where can I book shore excursions? Excursions can be booked onboard at the ship's excursion desk or online before the trip.

13) What are the benefits of booking ship-organized shore excursions? These save you time and effort as the travel operators are vetted by the cruise line, and the ship won't depart until all tour buses return.

14) What options are available for independent excursions? Independent excursions, such as those organized by "Get Your Guide," often offer more diverse options and work with local guides, providing a more exciting experience. 15) Why should I book excursions in advance? If you have a specific tour in mind or want to sign up for excursions with limited availability, booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment and ensure you have a backup plan in case of cancellations or unavailability.

16) Is there a laundry service on the ship? Yes, of course, there is a laundry service available.

17) Do I have to wash my clothes myself? No, our laundry staff is at your disposal, so you do not need to do your own laundry.

18) How does cabin cleaning work? Bed linens are changed once a week, and towels are replaced three times a week. Daily cleaning is not your responsibility, as our room service staff takes care of it daily or weekly, and it can also be requested as needed.
