To ensure a smooth departure, we have put together a comprehensive guide to approaching the ports.

You can send your questions to booking@victoria.cruises

Let's take a look at the ports of Mexican-bay, so that if you join the great adventure of your life here, we can help you.

Port Everglades terminal

We guide you step-by-step so you know what happens when the ships enter - and disembark at the Port Everglades terminal, from where the Victoria Majestic begins its world-famous adventure

Port Everglades Terminal is located 6 miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale and just 3 miles east of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport (FLL). The port is easily accessible via I-595, I-95, I-75, US1 and the Florida Furnpike.

There are three entrances to the harbor

I-595 Est  (south part of the port)

SR-84 and  S.Andrews Ave (middle part of the port)

Se 17 Th St Causeway (north parto of the port)

Address: 1850 Eller Drive Fort Lauderdale FL33316

Almost 4 million passengers pass through Port Everglades annually, with 9 modern air-conditioned terminals, mostly located in the northern and central parts of the port.

Arriving at the terminal will probably come by taxi or shuttle bus. There is strict security at the port entrance. An official photo ID and proof of Victoria Cruises Line reservation must be presented at the terminal entrance. The taxi will drop you right in front of the cruise ship, so always check the name of the ship before you get off the taxi as it can be a very long walk if you are dropped off at the wrong cruise ship.

Your luggage must be handed over to the crew, who will load it onto the ship and screen it for security, and deliver it to your cabin door. In your hand luggage, include jewelry, money and credit cards, mobile phone, passport and visa, shipping papers, medicine.

Make sure each bag is labeled and shows the cabin number.

Free Wi-Fi and food and drink vending machines are available in the terminal.

Wheelchairs are not available in the terminal. But the entire port and individual terminals are designed to be fully accessible. Elevators, ramps and wheelchair-friendly restrooms ensure that all passengers are comfortable.

Tampa

If you want to join the Victoria Majestic from a quieter and more accessible port, the Port Tampa Bay Cruise Terminal is your ideal boarding point.

Address: 1101 Channelside Drive, Tampa FL 33602

Tampa Cruise Terminals is located in the heart of downtown Tampa, the marina is close to historic Ybor City, a former cigar manufacturing center.

If arriving by plane, Tampa International Airport (TPA) is 14 miles northwest of the terminal. Transfer by taxi takes about 20 minutes.

Leave your heavy luggage at the drop-off point and bring only your carry-on bag, passport and boarding papers to check-in at the Tampa Cruise Terminal.

The cruise terminals at the Port of Tampa Bay are fairly basic, although there is plenty of seating and restrooms available. Free Wi-Fi in the terminal building.

All cruise terminals at the Port of Tampa Bay are ADA compliant and wheelchair friendly.

New Orleans  Cruise Terminal

New Orleans is a bright bustling city, and traffic around the airport and terminal can be a little confusing if you've never been in the area before.

the New Orleans Cruise Terminal is located on the Mississippi River near downtown New Orleans. The nearest airport is Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. It takes 25-40 minutes from the airport to the port depending on traffic.

Address: 1100 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans  LA 70130

Apart from the taxi, here are some suggestions on how to get from the airport to the port. Visit https://www.supershuttle.com/  or take the NOLA Airport shuttle one-way. www.AirportShuttles.com  offers a very fair price for those looking to get from the airport to the cruise terminal. Book your car in advance and meet them at the airport when your flight arrives.

Travel Tips for New Orleans

-            know in advance how you plan to get to the Cruises Terminal

-            have a backup plan in case something goes wrong, even if it means having extra money in your travel budget for the unexpected

The New Orleans Airport and Port Terminal are only 25 miles apart.

The Victoria Cruises team recommends that you arrive at least 1 day before departure. This gives you time in case of flight delays or cancellations. This will ensure you don't miss out on the adventure of a lifetime aboard the Victoria Majestic.

Also, if you have an extra day, you also have time to see the city a bit, maybe visit Mardi Grass World, which is right next to the harbor. We hope this guide helps you embark smoothly and explore the ports of the Gulf of Mexico. Have a safe trip and see you aboard the Victoria Majestic
